Helping someone follow Jesus is one of the deepest ways we can love people. Our ATLAS Mentoring Workshops will help you to help others follow Jesus. Some of the topics covered include: - What is the gospel? - What do we mean by "discipling" vs. "mentoring"? - Why do we mentor/disciple? - What do mentors do? - Qualities of an effective mentor - What mentors need to avoid - Common objections to mentoring The workshop will be held in the Lower Youth Center at Refuge Church (1000 6th Street SE, Willmar). Park on the south side of the building and enter through the south door. The Youth Center will be the first door to your right. We do ask that you please wear a mask. Attending also does not commit you to becoming a volunteer mentor through ATLAS. The workshop helps prepare you to disciple anyone in your life, whether it's through ATLAS or through any other relationship in your life.
