Men, You are invited to join ATLAS Director Jason Haug each Tuesday evening from February 9 to March 2 for a Bible study on finding help and hope in the fight against pornography, lust, and sexual sin. We invite you to join us whether you have struggled with these things personally OR if you want to learn how to help other men fight these things in their lives. Each meeting we’ll walk through a specific passage of Scripture that helps us understand why and how we struggle and how we can fight. Each lesson will help us see how we fight lust in our lives by finding our greatest delight in Jesus Christ. There is no workbook to purchase. All you need is a Bible. REGISTER - The study is free, but you do need to register to be able to participate. The meeting will only be in person (no Zoom option will be available this time). Because of this, attendance will be limited so we ask that you be able and willing to commit to attending each of the four sessions. Masks required. OR, any men wanting to help other men fight these things in their lives. WHERE? - ATLAS, 504 19th Ave SW, Willmar, MN WHEN? – Tuesday evenings for four weeks, (Feb 9, Feb 16, Feb 23, Mar 2). We’ll start at 6:00pm and be done by 8pm. NO ONE DELIGHTS IN FIGHTING LUST. SO WHY CALL THIS CLASS “DELIGHT TO FIGHT”? – The name “Delight to fight” doesn’t mean we enjoy fighting lust. It means delight is the way we fight lust. We fight lust by finding a greater delight in Jesus Christ. These sessions will discuss why we need to fight this way and how we can go about it. WHAT PASSAGES WILL WE STUDY? – The weekly schedule will be as follows. This is not intended to be a comprehensive study of every passage in Scripture that touches on sexual temptation. References to other passages will be worked into each lesson as well. Feb 9 – Like an Ox to Slaughter (Proverbs 7) – How can we recognize and escape the trap sexual temptation sets for us? Feb 16 – Doubting God (Genesis 1-3) – What really is the root cause of sin in our lives? Feb 23 – Unsatisfied (2 Samuel 11 & 12) – How can we escape the deadly downward spiral of sexual sin?
