Our Mission:

Together Touching Lives for Christ

Together ...

This is the "how" of what we do - together with the Holy Spirit and together with you. We can't do anything apart from the strength, wisdom, and help of the Holy Spirit, and we can't do anything without you. ATLAS is only able to function by the grace of God and the willingness of Christ-followers to engage with people in their community. We rely on your help as mentors, volunteers, and financial partners to connect with people who seek change in their lives.

Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Hebrews 10:24-25

For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.

Matthew 18:20

Touching Lives ...

This is the "what" of our mission. Many people around us have no one to talk to when troubles arise in life. No one to encourage, support, and pray with them. Life is not meant to be lived in isolation. At ATLAS, we equip and support caring mentors who in turn meet with anyone who is in need of someone to walk alongside them on the road of life. We seek to help people find truth, love, and self-control in

their lives by pointing them to Jesus Christ.

If one falls down, his friend can help him up, but pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up.

Ecclesiastes 4:10

And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all that there were no needy persons among them.

Acts 4:33b-34a

For Christ ...

This is the "why" of our mission. We believe that mentoring should be Christ-centered because He is the only one that can heal, save, change, restore, and give hope to the human heart. We seek to connect with, encourage, and pray with hurting people in obedience to Jesus for His glory.

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Colossians 3:17

Ascribe to the Lord, you heavenly beings, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.

Psalm 29:1-2
